A Decatur man was arrested after showing up to a potential handiwork customer’s residence while drunk and then threatening the homeowner. When the resident grabbed a golf club to defend herself, he began making death threats. Police found the 47-year-old in an alleyway near the house and when they asked him to make a statement, he responded with racial slurs and expletives.
He has been charged with criminal trespassing and felony harassment for threatening text messages that were sent after the woman removed him from her house.
