A new law which will take effect on January 1st will not only expunge the records of those with convictions or arrests related to marijuana, but also help communities that have seen the most impact of marijuana arrests.
It will help people from those areas get business loans and technical assistance as well as use revenue form marijuana sales to go towards development grants in those neighborhoods.
