Harristown has passed a vote to allow cannabis sales next year by a vote of 5-1. Harristown is the first in Macon County to vote in favor of allowing a dispensary.
It is not guaranteed a dispensary will be in Harristown but it leaves the door open for the possibility. Decatur and Maroa have voted against the sale of marijuana.
