A 30-year-old employee was arrested after showing up to the Steak ‘n Shake on South Mount Zion Rd. drunk on Saturday.
When the police came, they saw the man laying on the floor. He was taken to St. Mary’s and upon being taken to the emergency room, he became physical with officers. He tried to take an officer to the ground and continued to struggle with officers. He was then tased and became compliant.
He was then taken to Macon County Jail and charged with resisting an officer and aggravated battery to an officer.
