A Decatur man threatened hotel workers at the Hampton Inn after he was told there were no available rooms.
Nathaniel Goforth then began throwing his property across the lobby and removed his shirt. He then left, returned, and threatened workers in the lobby.
When police arrived, Goforth resisted arrest and while being placed in a squad car, he spat in the face of an officer. Goforth has been charged with resisting an officer, disorderly conduct, aggravated battery to a peace officer and theft of services.
