Two people have been accused of making others cash checks that were taken from Lake Land College in Mattoon. After police were contacted by First Currency Exchange, they became aware of the five stolen checks.
John Lewis and Darious Jones threatened the people who cashed the checks. Both men were arrested but have since posted bail.
