Some Illinois Republicans disagree with Governor Pritzker and his Rebuild Illinois plan and how it’s being implemented.
Republicans say that they’re concerned with that Democratic projects for the General Assembly are receiving more funding than other projects in Republican jurisdictions. A number of House Republicans feel the plan is granting favors in exchange for support. Pritzker says that much of the investments are in downstate Illinois areas which are represented by Republicans.
