A woman was found badly badly injured in an alley in Decatur on Sunday. The woman, who is a 54-year-old Mowequa resident, suffered from facial injuries so severe that she has been unable to communicate because she was being kept under sedation. The woman was found in the 800 block of N. Water St.
Police say it appears she was struck by a car, beaten, or possibly both.
