A Decatur woman suffered a bullet wound and a Decatur man was arrested on drug charges after a home invasion on the 2200 block of E. Hendrix St. The gunshot victim was hit in the thigh; the wound is not believed to be life-threatening for the 22-year-old woman who sustained it.
a 37-year-old man who was arrested was a tenant of the home. He was not a suspect in the shooting but when officers arrived to investigate they found 8.8 grams of meth, a sawed-off shotgun and 46 grams of marijuana.
Two men forcibly entered the house and began demanding money. One shot was then fired, which struck the female.
