Residents of the West End voiced their frustrations with repeated burglary of cars and homes in the area. In the recent city council meeting, people from the neighborhood coalition brought up the amount of break-ins and thefts that happen in the West End. They have asked for more police presence in the area.
Residents voiced that, despite the issues they are facing, the West End is a great place to live. Residents did not want to negatively portray the area, but those who live there say they have a voice that should be heard.
