Illinois Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth are announcing federal funding for five central Illinois organizations fighting the opioid epidemic. The Illinois Democrats announced a million dollars in funding yesterday to help stop opioid use in rural counties. Each of the five organizations will receive a grant of $200,000 to further their cause.
