Howard Buffett has pledged another $2.8 million through his foundation, The Howard G. Buffett Foundation, to build two additional 10-unit apartment buildings to add to the Community Care Campus that is being built and funded by Mr. Buffett. The idea behind this investment is to have a more complete approach to handling drug addiction in our community.
Back in August of 2018, Buffett announced plans for the Community Care Campus and pledged $30 million to rally together social services.
This last April, his foundation said they would donate another $25 million for the campus, for an 80,000 sq. foot community center.
