DCFS to get $130 million more in funding

The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is going to receive almost $130 million more in funding over the next fiscal year.  This would be the largest increase to their budget in more than 20 years.  The boost in money will allow DCFS to hire more than 300 additional front line staff including case workers and investigators.
