Around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, police were dispatched to the intersection of Charles and Walnut St. where a body was found in a vehicle.
Officers are currently investigating the scene and are currently unable to give further details on the person’s death.
A report from the Macon County Coroner said that Kimberly Mashburn, 29, was found unresponsive in a truck. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
