Gambling possibly expanding in Illinois

Illinois lawmakers will discuss the possibility of expanding gambling in the state.  The House Executive Committee is scheduled to hear a bill this morning that would expand the number of casinos in the state and legalize sports betting.  Legislators have already heard hours of testimony on the matter but a final plan hasn’t been approved.  Governor Pritzker initially called for legalization of sports betting to help balance the budget.
