New bill calls for gender neutral restrooms

A bill making its way through the state Legislature would call for gender neutral restrooms in Illinois.  The bill would only apply to single stall restrooms in public spaces.  It passed the House vote and is now headed to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s desk.  California, Vermont and New Mexico have similar laws in effect.
