State lawmakers say they’re forming a new committee to oversee changes to the Department of Child and Family Services.  The group called the DCFS Child Welfare Reform Caucus is intended to hold the agency accountable by amending some current legislation.  The new committee will feature a bipartisan approach to helping the children of Illinois.  The move comes after over 100 children have died during a ten month period that had connections to the system.
