Illinois Failed to Complete Grant Forms That Could Help With Sever Flooding ,Amendment Approved By U.S Rep Davis

Congress Man Rodney Davis announced he would offer an amendment , for a disaster supplemental package to be reopened. The PDM program that FEMA has, will allow Illinois another opportunity to submit an application to qualify for important grants. Illinois failed in January to submit complete applications for the fiscal year 2018. In doing so this made all communities in the state ineligible for grants of the PRE-DISASTER MITIGATION. Davis said, “Our communities are experiencing sever flooding right now and they shouldn’t be punished because of the state’s failure to submit a complete application on time.”
