A new bill that passed will help students who are transgender and those who aren’t citizens pay for college

A new bill that passed in the Illinois House could help some students pay for college.  The bill would allow certain students access MAP grants, helping students who are transgender and those who aren’t citizens.  The legislation now moves to the Senate.
