Alisha Rightnower of Taylorville is facing a class 4 felony for animal cruelty

Alisha Rightnower of Taylorville is facing a class 4 felony for animal cruelty. Rightnower was a resident of Kincaid Ill. before moving to Taylorville. While living in Kincaid she had a pet dog. She chose to move to Taylorville but left her dog in Kincaid, at her old address. Kincaid Police commented on their social media page, about how they found the dog. The police shared information, about how the dog had tried to chew through canned food to get something to eat. The dog also chewed various items in the house up, like a toaster to try and get to the crumbs. When police tracked Rightnower down she commented that Heroin was more important than the dog.
