Two Decatur Officers Injured During Traffic Stop

January 31st Two Decatur Police Officers initiated a traffic stop at approximately 8:38pm in the 1400 block of N. Union. During the stop a struggle with the suspect ensued. Preliminary information indicates during the struggle at least one shot of fired by one of the officers. As a result of the struggle both officers were treated and released at a local hospital for injuries suffered during the incident. The suspect will be booked into Macon County Jail.
