ANOTHER ARMED ROBBERY IN BLOOMINGTON

Add another armed robbery to the growing list of crimes Bloomington police are trying to solve. Officers say someone robbed the Walgreens just north of the city’s downtown Thursday night. This makes for the 8th armed robbery in Bloomington over the past 30 days. Bloomington police say they don’t think all 8 of the robberies are related, but they are not guessing as to what has sparked the uptick in violent crimes.
