Bring in the New Year with 250 new laws for Illinois. That’s right Illinois will be getting a slew of new laws starting New Years Day. Law Makers approved and Governor Rauner signed 250 new laws for 2019. the laws range anywhere from technical changes to the state government to a new law that allows hunters to wear BLAZE PINK!!! Some of the new laws may seem pointless or even funny at times but one that really stands out is that Illinois will now require schools to perform a live active shooter drill at least once a year. Another big law change will be a 72 hour waiting period for all gun purchases. This closes the gun show loophole for purchases made by a non-resident.
