Astros teammates Alex Bregman and George Springer hit back-to-back home runs in the top of the 10th to break a 5-all tie and put the AL in front for good. The teams combined for a record 10 home runs. Bregman was named MVP.

(Washington, DC) — The Dodgers could soon be adding Manny Machado to their lineup. The Athletic reports Los Angeles is close to acquiring the All-Star shortstop from the Orioles in a package that includes outfield prospect Yusniel Diaz. The Phillies and Brewers are also making a push for Machado. The 26-year-old is batting .315 with 24 home runs this season.

(Washington, DC) — Milwaukee Brewers reliever Josh Hader is apologizing for a series of years old tweets in which he made racist and sexist comments. The now 24-year-old says he was young and immature at age 17 when most of the comments were posted.

The organization announced that Keim is being suspended for five weeks and fined 200-thousand-dollars following his guilty plea. According to KPNX-12 in Phoenix, Keim will serve a 48-hour jail sentence that started last night.
