Republican gubernatorial candidate Darren Bailey is pausing his campaign following another loss in his family. Bailey released a statement confirming the passing of his late daughter-in-law’s father after a battle with cancer. This tragedy comes less than five months after Bailey’s son, Zachary, daughter-in-law, Kelsey, and grandchildren, Vada Rose and Samuel, died in a helicopter crash in Montana on October 22nd. Campaign representatives say Bailey will spend several days with family during this difficult period. No word yet on when campaign activities will resume or on any adjustments to scheduled events.
BAILEY TO MISS CAMPAIGN STOPS TO BE WITH FAMILY
This was taken at a church for a holiday service called Carols and Candles. The flame from the candle represents the light of Jesus Christ in a dark and evil world. This photo would be great for a candlelight vigil also or for a design for mourning or memorial.
