Illinois residents have a chance to weigh in on the coolest product made in the state as voting opens for the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association’s popular Makers Madness contest. Over 100 uniquely Illinois-made products are competing in this year’s bracket-style tournament. As the contest heats up, votes will decide which items advance toward the Top 16. The public can cast their votes through March 22 on the Makers Madness website. Last year’s competition saw everything from snack foods to heavy machinery named as finalists, highlighting innovation across Illinois.
