Man Charged With Shooting Girlfriend In Urbana Found Fit To Stand Trial

A man charged with shooting his girlfriend in Urbana in October is being found fit to stand trial. The ruling was handed down yesterday during a hearing for Noah Allen. Police say the victim was found shot on October 7th in the 900 block of South Vine Street. Allen faces charges of attempted first-degree murder, aggravated battery, and unlawful possession of a firearm.
