Two Decatur Men Plead Not Guilty To Human Trafficking
(Decatur, IL) — Two Decatur men charged with human trafficking are pleading not guilty. State police say in October, the Coles County Sheriff’s Department received a report about a theft. During the investigation, a woman was identified as a possible victim of human trafficking. Agents learned the woman had been abused, sexually assaulted, and forced into prostitution by Bryan Slater and Jacob Miller. Slater is due back in court on March 2nd, while Miller is scheduled for a February 4th court appearance. They are still in custody at the Macon County Jail.
