Decatur FD Promotes First Female Captain
A Decatur firefighter is making history. Tina German-Roberts has been promoted to Captain. She becomes the first female Captain in the history of the Decatur Fire Department. Previously, Captain German-Roberts has served as a paramedic, a member of the Dive Rescue Team, District 2 State Commander for the Illinois Firefighter Honor Guard, and the American Heart Association Site Coordinator.
