PRITZKER APPOINTMENTS
Gov. J.B. Pritzker has named a member of former President Joe Biden’s COVID-19 Advisory Board to the State Board of Health. Joyce Foundation President and CEO Julie Morita previously helped lead the Chicago Department of Health for nearly two decades. Pritzker also appointed Margarita Teran-Garcia from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Illinois Extension to the state health board.
