A group of United States of flags at half mast. The position of a flag which is being flown some way below the top of its staff as a mark of respect for a person who has died.

PEARL HARBOR FLAGS

Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day will be recognized statewide, with flags being ordered half-staff. The Illinois Department of Central Management Services said it received notice from Gov. J.B. Pritzker that all persons or entities covered by the Illinois Flag Display Act are to lower the U.S. and state flags upon sunrise on Dec. 7 until sunset.
