Holiday Travel Rush Is On
Travelers are heading to their Thanksgiving destinations. The TSA expects to screen over 18 million flyers before the end of next Tuesday, and yesterday was likely the busiest with 52-thousand flights scheduled nationwide. Officials say air traffic control staffing is back up to pre-government shutdown levels, and flights are largely on schedule. Forecasters warn flights are likely to be impacted by a lake-effect snowstorm moving across the Midwest and the Northeast. A record 82 million Americans are projected to travel this Thanksgiving.
