IDPH Reminds Consumers About Hazards Of Consuming Raw Milk
The Illinois Department of Public Health is reminding the public about the hazards of consuming raw milk. Raw milk is milk that hasn’t been pasteurized, making it more likely to be a source of foodborne illness. The reminder comes after at least eleven people in the state were recently sickened by raw milk products. The producer of the products is taking steps to notify customers and is cooperating with an investigation.
