Decatur Accepting Pre-Applications for Roof Replacement Program Beginning Nov 17
The City of Decatur will begin accepting pre-applications for a roof replacement program offered by the Illinois Housing Development Authority later this month. The IHDA’s Home Repair and Accessibility Program provides assistance to qualified homeowners in the form of a three-year forgivable loan with a zero percent interest rate and no monthly payment. Eligible homeowners may receive up to 25 thousand dollars for repairs. Pre-applications will be accepted starting November 17th through the 21st. They will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
