El Paso Man Charged With Threatening President Trump
An El Paso, Illinois, man is charged in federal court with making threats against President Trump. Prosecutors say Derek Lopez was arrested on Tuesday. His arrest follows an investigation led by the FBI. He is due in Peoria federal court next Monday. Lopez was a graduate student and a teacher’s assistant at Illinois State University.
