Jury Chosen In Sean Grayson Trial
The jury is set in the trial of the former Sangamon County Sheriff’s deputy charged in the killing of Sonya Massey last year. Sean Grayson faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated battery with a firearm, and official misconduct in Massey’s July 2024 shooting death inside her home. A panel of 12 jurors and three alternates was selected yesterday in Peoria County court. Opening statements will begin tomorrow morning.
