Pritzker Slams Trump Over ‘Unconstitutional invasion’ of Chicago

Governor Pritzker continues to slam President Trump over what he calls his “unconstitutional invasion” of Chicago. The governor called the deployments of the National Guard to the city “unlawful and unwarranted.” Pritzker said the President is using service members as “political props and as pawns in his illegal effort to militarize our nation’s cities.” Trump suggested he could invoke the Insurrection Act as a way to get around court rulings blocking his efforts to deploy the National Guard to Chicago and other cities.
