Thousands of people attended vigils across Illinois to honor Charlie Kirk over the weekend, including at an outdoor event in the conservative icon’s birthplace of Arlington Heights. Kirk was fatally shot last Wednesday at Utah Valley University. A funeral service for Kirk is scheduled for Sept. 21 in Arizona.
