Cronus Chemicals to Invest $2B on New Tuscola Facility
(Decatur, IL) — Cronus Chemicals is investing two billion dollars to build a new fertilizer production facility in Tuscola, Illinois. Governor Pritzker announced the news yesterday at the 2025 Farm Progress Show in Decatur. The new investment will create 130 new jobs in Central Illinois and bolster the state’s manufacturing and agricultural industries.
