Illinois EPA Holding Eight Upcoming Household Hazardous Waste Collection Events
(Springfield, IL) — The Illinois EPA is holding eight Household Hazardous Waste collections in the coming weeks. The one-day collections are open to all Illinois residents and operate from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the day of the event. They provide residents with the free opportunity to safely dispose of unused or leftover hazardous products commonly found in homes. The events take place August 9th in Champaign, September 6th in Quincy, September 27th in Springfield, October 4th in Bloomington, October 11th in East Moline, October 25th in Crestwood, November 1st in Taylorville, and November 8th in Romeoville.
