Illinois Law Enforcement Police Training
The Illinois Law Enforcement Training and Standards Board says it is starting the implementation of new training standards set to take effect in the new year after a bill was signed into law. Gov. J.B. Pritzker signed Senate Bill 1195 Friday to enhance trauma-informed training requirements for law enforcement officers across the state with a target on interactions with victims of sexual assault and abuse.
