Macon Co Family Awarded $17M Over Death Of Infant Son
(Decatur, IL) — A Macon County family is being awarded more than 17 million dollars by a jury in a wrongful death lawsuit over the death of their infant son in 2019. Attorneys for Colton and Hannah Bayless filed the suit after their son Oliver suffered injuries during childbirth in May 2018 while in the care of Dr. Derin Rominger and Women’s Health Care Specialists of Decatur. The child died from those injuries in February 2019.
