DuPage Co Sheriff James Mendrick Announces Run For Governor
(DuPage Co., IL) — DuPage County sheriff James Mendrick is running for Governor of Illinois. Mendrick announced his bid yesterday on Facebook, saying he won’t be seeking a third term as sheriff. He says he will “bring safety, security, and fairness to the city of Chicago and the rest of our State.” Mendrick has served as DuPage County sheriff since 2018.
