Closings and Cancellations Jan. 6th

Monday, January 6th, will be an eLearning day for DPS#61 due to inclement weather.  NO Extended Day Programming or any extra curricular activities.

PreK-8th grade students should refer to grade level elearning packets (choice boards) sent home earlier this school year. They are also available on our website dps61.org/elearning. No technology is needed!

High school students, you need to log in to each google classroom for your instructions and/or assignments from teachers.

District administrators will continue to monitor the weather. Parents, for up to date information, rely on official DPS communication channels or trusted media partners. You can also check our website or social media for additional updates and information.

Decatur Public Library closed January 6, 2025

Decatur Public Transit will have a delayed service start of 7:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, and we will also begin the day on Snow Routes only. We will return to normal service as soon as it is safe for all. Residents can follow our Transit Facebook page for updates.

Macon County Community Eye Care and Mt. Zion Community Eye Care will both be closed Monday January 6th 2025 due to the weather. Thank you.

Land of Lincoln Credit Union:

Due to continued poor road conditions, will not be opening branches on Monday, January 6th, as previously planned. We expect to reopen on Tuesday, January 7th, at regular business hours.
