Illinois Secretary of State Reveals 2023 License Plate Naughty List
(Springfield, IL) — The office of Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias is revealing the 2023 license plate naughty list. More than 300 vanity and personalized license plates were rejected this year after being deemed too obscene or defamatory. Illinois vehicle owners pay extra for a new vanity or personalized plate. Currently, there are more than 811-thousand vehicles registered in the state with vanity or personalized license plates for Illinoisans.
