Springfield Rental Car Company Owner Convicted Of Attacking Customer

(Springfield, IL) — The owner of a Springfield rental car company is being convicted of attacking customer in 2021. Jordan Monroe was found guilty of aggravated battery following a one-day jury trial. He was charged with punching a man in a Walgreens parking lot on August 10th, 2021. The man was a customer of Urgent Rent-a-Car, a company owned by Monroe, who will be sentenced in September.
