Springfield Woman Gets Probation After Dog Found Dead
(Springfield, IL) — A Springfield woman is receiving probation after her dog was found dead. Taryn Goodwin was sentenced yesterday to two years probation after pleading guilty to aggravated cruelty to an animal. The remains of her dog were found in her home in the 12-hundred block of East Ash in December 2020. Prosecutors say the canine had been abandoned in the home without access to food or water which resulted in its death.
