UIS Reaches Tentative Agreement With Union Faculty Members
A strike is being avoided after union faculty members at University of Illinois Springfield reached a tentative agreement with the university. The four-year deal was announced over the weekend. The faculty voted last month to authorize a work stoppage if an agreement can’t be reached. The workers had been working without a contract since last August.
