COVID Cases on the Rise Statewide

New COVID-19 cases in Illinois Tuesday hit the highest daily total since early May. Cases continue to increase, with 2,682 most recently reported. Governor Pritzker on Monday again stressed the need to get your shot if you haven’t already. Close to 59 percent of those 12 years and older are now fully vaccinated, and nearly 67 percent have received at least one dose. Hospitalizations are rising, with more than 11-hundred COVID patients in the hospital at last count, including 243 in the I-C-U.
