Two incumbents and one newcomer have been chosen to serve on the Decatur City Council. David Horn, Chuck Kuhle and now Ed Culp will take council seats after claiming the most votes Tuesday night. In the other closely watched race of the night, 4 open seats on the Decatur Public School District Board of Education were open as the 4 incumbents did not seek re-election after serving their single term. The new board members are Al Scheider, Kevin Collins-Brown, Alana Giselle Banks and Jason Wayne Dion. In the Decatur Park District Board of Commissioners race, both Bob Brilley and Stacey Young were re-elected.
